About Me
I live in Brighton on the southern coast of England. I guess you can say I'm am, or rather I've become, something of an hellenophile. I have been saddened to see how this current crisis has served to push Europeans apart. Greeks increasingly suspect their fellow Europeans of having alterior motives, and Greece's allies have begun hardening irrational and unfair prejudices. This 'crisis' shows us how much we have in common, and should be used to bring us together, not to pull us apart. I hope that by encouraging people to share their personal perspectives this site will help (re)build a bridge between what's happening in Greece and how the Greeks see it to the rest of Europe. |
